This week the Rainbows would have be continuing their work on construction, we're been doing lots of fun things over the past weeks like surveys to see what different materials are used in making and what they look and feel like. We've also tried building our own bridges and are excited to see if they can hold the weight of a toy car when we are back!
We would love to see what ideas the Rainbows come up with if they could become a town planner!
We all know that it must take loads of people and lots of time planning to make a town, but 1 person might be able to plan a high street, a park or part of a theme park and this is what we would like the Rainbows to try!
But we need to think of some specific things
- How will people get from one place to another?
- Where will you put the bins, so it's easy for people to use them?
- What things will you put next to each other and why?
We are happy for the Rainbows to do their planning on paper but would love to see some modellings of a least 1 bit of their plan.
This is quite a big one for the Rainbows so we think it should keep them entertained through the week but let us know if you need more!
Willow and Owl
Emily has enjoyed making her town. Including a house, tower block of flats, park, cars and a person. She was very proud of her model.
